Business Intelligence Team Lead

Duties & roles

• Leading a team of currently 3 analysts from data warehousing to visualisation and insights
• Helping the entire organisation to leverage data for decision making and goal tracking
• Designing and maintaining reporting data structures
• Building and maintaining data intensive tools
• Troubleshooting of data related bugs
• Assuring and reviewing quality of reports and solutions developed by team
• Coaching and developing your team to achieve their performance goals

Required skills and experience

• 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or Business Analytics
• Complex SQL queries (e.g., views, stored procedures)
• Microsoft Business Intelligence stack (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Azure data factory)
• Information management and data visualization practices
• Data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, DataBricks, DBT)

Beneficial skills

• ETL processes
• Relevant programming skills (e.g., Python, R)
• Data science
• Relevant degree (e.g., Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science)

Personal skills/attributes

• Fluent in English
• High attention to detail, structured and logical thinking
• Problem solving can-do attitude
• Ability to explain technical matters to non-technical audience
• Genuine interest and shows initiative in own professional development
• Takes ownership of work, sets goals/plans, takes initiative
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver under tight deadlines
